WELCOME TO Garland CONNECT

As the exclusive Meet Me Room operator here in the Garland Center at 1200 W. 7th St., in Los Angeles California, we are pleased to provide carrier neutral connectivity from multiple fiber providers with three diverse entry points.

The Garland Center is one of the largest data centers on the west coast located on the Wilshire corridor just blocks away from One Wilshire. We are a mission critical facility with 24/7 manned security with biometric protected access. The Commercial Power is supplied by the Department of Water & Power via two (2) separate 34.5 KV transmission lines serving four (4) 3,750 KVA transformers and one (1) 7,500 KVA transformer. The Commercial Power Plants are served by two (2) diverse substations resulting in 22.5 MVA of total power capacity.

The Emergency Generator Plant is made up of (4) Detroit Diesel 1,100 kW generators, one (1) Cummins Electric 1,250 kW generator and five (5) Cummins Electric 2,250 kW generators resulting in 16.90 MW of total Generator Plant capacity. The Emergency Generator Plant is supported by three (3) 30,000 gallon underground fuel storage tanks (90,000 gallon total capacity) designed to maintain Emergency Generator fuel support at full load for approximately 120 hours. The Emergency Power Plant is designed and operated at an N+1 redundancy. The UPS Power Plant is made up of five (5) Emerson Liebert 750 KVA parallel redundant, UPS Modules resulting in 3,750 KVA of total capacity. The UPS Power designed and operated at an N+1 redundancy. The HVAC Plant is made up of three (3) Trane 1,000 ton centrifugal chillers, two (2) Trane ton centrifugal chillers and four (4) Trane 1,200 ton centrifugal chillers resulting in a total capacity of 8,800 tons of chilled water. The HVAC Plant is designed and operated at an N+1 redundancy. The HVAC Plant are served by two (2) diverse domestic city water feeds provided by the Department of Water and Power which are backed up by a 167,000 gallon make-up water tank. At Garland Connect, our mission is to provide secure reliable connectivity services to the tenants and carriers of the Garland Center.
